Having pack horses take all the heavy items from camp to camp made a big difference. The views are stunning and the expanse of the landscape quite humbling, as are the sudden riches of wildflowers that follow the sparse streams down the mountains. We went as quite inexperienced hikers and the hike was just within our capabilities. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience in a wonderful part of the world.
