I was picked up exactly on time at my hotel and driven to the trailhead for my personally guided hike complete with complimentary lunch. My guide and driver, Nicolas, spoke excellent English and took the time to explain the geology of the Andes Mountains as well as interesting Santiago landmarks seen on the drive to and through Cajon del Maipo.
