Instrumental and vocal Latin American folk music ensemble from Chile. Inti-Illimani is identified with the musical history of the Andes, with its instruments and geography, the history of their people, their struggles and joys.

The name of this song, Alturas, in spanish means heights, alluding the Andes and South American uplands. It is part of the album Viva Chile! which was recorded in exile by Inti-Illimani and released in 1973.

Here you can listen the full album Viva Chile! by Inti-Illimani. Enjoy…
